In the context of the Minoan ship reconstruction research project, we organized a history-themed event, undertaking the development of the program, communication and publicity of the event. On 29 May 2004, and after 3,500 years, the reconstructed, according to ancient shipbuilding standards, Minoan ship set sail for its maiden voyage from the port of Chania to Piraeus.
